- Local Storage: Your custom preferences, layouts, and chosen feeds are stored using the browser's local extension storage, remaining entirely on your local device.
3. Third-Party Web Services
To provide news feeds and weather forecasts, the Extension makes direct network requests to third-party RSS feeds and weather APIs. During these requests, your IP address is visible to those services in order to fulfill the data fetch, similar to visiting any website. No additional identifiers or tracking data are included in these requests.
